The list below represents farmers and artisans that are in the SFC Farmers’ Market Triangle as participants. Many sellers come and go seasonally, so check complete descriptions on our main market website, or sign up for our weekly enewsletter, Rise and Shine to get updates.

We are the farmers' market

This is our oldest market (est. 2003) and it is becoming more popular each week as a downtown destination in historic Republic Square Park.  Dozens of farms come into the tree-lined park weekly to sell vegetables, fruits, meats, cheeses, milk, honey, plants, flowers and more. In addition to a wide variety of farm products, this market offers fine artisan award-winning foodstuffs, delicious baked goods, and lots of options for breakfast and lunch. Value-added, easy to take home flours (including gluten free), jellies, tofu, pickled products, deli items, and locally roasted coffees are abundant.

The SFC Farmers’ Market Downtown is part of SFC’s mission to cultivate a healthy community by strengthening the local food system and improving access to local, nutritious, affordable food. SFC is a local non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization. SFC has been involved in getting locally grown food to local family tables in the Austin area since 1975. The SFC Farmers Market, including locations at Downtown, Sunset Valley, and The Triangle is the largest certified* growers-only farmers’ market in the state, with more than 110 farmers and other vendors.

*The SFC Farmers’ Market is not only certified by the Texas Department of Agriculture, but also by the more rigorous Texas Certified Farmers Market Corporation, a statewide professional agricultural trade organization that requires farmers’ markets to have 51% or more farmers at their markets.
